Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. Matthew Matt James is a mixed race child of Manny James and Patty James. He is the son of Nigerian while his mother is caucasian American. Following his graduation at Sanderson High School, in 2010, James enrolled in Wake Forest University and obtained his Bachelor's in Economics. James was first known by his character on The Bachelorette's reality TV star. In 2020, he was chosen to be the next bachelor in season 25 becoming the first African American male lead which was later aired in 2021. James was a perfect fit for the role as his height is tall, handsome and well-rounded and has a sense of humorous. Rachael Krokconnell was the winner because James decided to enter into an intimate relationship with her. In 2021 he partnered with the famous dancer Arnold to take part in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold placed 12th.
