Audrey Justine Tautou (born Audrey Justine Tautou) is an French model and actress. She gained fame by playing the awkward, eccentric waitress Amelie and won many awards. Tautou has been compared numerous times to Audrey Hepburn due to her charm beautiful appearance and acting talent. It was surprising that Tautou chose acting for a profession. She was born into an enlightened family, with an uncle who was professor, and a mother who worked as dentist. In school, she became attracted to acting and decided to pursue a career as an actor. A native of France she appeared in several French films before she made her Hollywood debut alongside Tom Hanks in the film The Da Vinci Code. She is a highly regarded model for her fashion sense.
